Events

Portraits in the Park is an all day event that will take place in October of each year. The concept is rather simple; participants will spend the day in the park getting their portrait taken. There will be three levels of donations for three different portrait packages. The hope is that photographers from all over the country will host their own Portraits in the Park event. The proceeds from their event will go to the charity of their choosing. The Maryland event will donate their proceeds to the Susan G. Komen fund and The Ulman Cancer Fund.

Portraits After Dark is a four hour event that will take place in April of each year. Again the concept is simple. Participants will come out at dusk for portrait sessions lit entirely by natural light and candle light. It will serve as a memorial for people who have lost their battles with terminal illness. There will be three levels of donations for three different portrait packages.  Again the hope is that the Maryland event will spark interest across the country, and other photographers will host their own events. Proceeds from the Maryland event will go to the American Cancer Society and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
